Personal information

When we refer to personal information, we mean any information that makes your identity reasonably apparent. This may include both facts and opinions about you.

The types of personal information we may collect include, but are not limited to, your name, date of birth, address, email, phone number, occupation, account details, and other identifiers.

If you apply for finance, we may also collect details such as the ages and number of your dependents or cohabitants, how long you have lived at your current address, your employment details, and proof of income and expenses.

Additionally, the personal information we collect may include credit information. This is used to assess your eligibility for finance and may include outstanding loans, your repayment history, and any defaults. Credit information is typically exchanged between credit and finance providers and credit reporting agencies.

If you make purchases through us, we will collect your payment information. We may also collect this information when making payments to you. If you apply for employment with us, we will collect information about your work history and gather feedback from your referees. If you apply to become an All R Loans mortgage solutions broker (also referred to as Broker or Consultant Broker), we will collect information to assess whether you meet the standards for finance brokers.

Why we collect your personal information

To maintain a successful business relationship with you and provide the services you’ve contracted with us, we may share your personal information with other organizations that offer products or services we use or market. The types of organizations we may disclose your information to include mortgage intermediaries, our insurance partners, lenders, valuers, lenders mortgage insurers, surveyors, accountants, credit reporting agencies, recovery firms, debt collectors, and legal professionals. 

We may also disclose your personal information to any organization that currently has, or is considering, an interest in your finance or in our business. Additionally, we may share your information as required by law.

How do we collect your personal information?

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • Prospective funders or other intermediaries related to your finance needs;
  • Organizations involved in managing or administering your finance, such as third-party suppliers, printing and postal services, call centers, lenders mortgage insurers, trade insurers, and credit reporting agencies;
  • Associated businesses that may wish to market products to you;
  • Companies that provide us with information technology and infrastructure services;
  • Individuals or entities representing you, such as finance brokers, lawyers, or accountants;
  • Anyone for whom you have provided your consent;
  • Investors, agents, advisors, or any entity with an interest in our business;
  • Your employer, referees, or identity verification services;
  • When required by law, such as under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), or in response to a subpoena or summons issued by a court.

Before disclosing any of your personal information to another individual or organization, we will take reasonable steps to ensure:

(a) The individual or organization has a commitment to protecting your personal information at least equal to our own, or
(b) You have given your consent for the disclosure.

We may also disclose your personal information to overseas entities that provide us with support functions. You can contact us to learn more about these entities. 

Credit information

We may collect and exchange the following types of credit information with credit reporting bodies and other entities:

  • Credit liability information: Details about your existing finance, including the name of the credit provider, whether the provider holds an Australian Credit License, the type of finance, the start date, terms and conditions, the maximum finance available, and the termination date of the finance.
  • Repayment history information: Information on whether you meet your repayment obligations on time.
  • Finance application details: Information about the type of finance you are applying for.
  • Default and payment information: Information regarding any defaults or payments related to your finance.
  • Court proceedings information: Details regarding any legal proceedings related to your credit.

We exchange this credit information to assess your application for finance and manage your finance.

This information may be stored electronically on our secure servers or in paper form. We may also use cloud storage for holding your credit information.

When obtaining credit information from a credit reporting body, we may also seek publicly available information and details about any serious credit infringements you may have committed.

We may disclose your credit information to overseas entities that provide us with support functions. You can contact us to learn more about these entities.

Notifiable matters  

We are required by law to inform you of certain ‘notifiable matters’ regarding how we may use or store your personal information. You can request these notifiable matters (and our privacy policy) in an alternative format if needed.

We exchange your credit information with credit reporting bodies to assess your creditworthiness, process your application for finance, and manage your finance. 

If you fail to meet your payment obligations or commit a serious credit infringement in relation to any finance we have provided or arranged, we may disclose this information to a credit reporting body.

You have the right to request access to the credit information we hold about you and to request corrections where necessary. Please note that the information we hold may differ from what is held by credit reporting bodies, lenders, or other financial services providers. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of information held by those external parties.

Credit reporting bodies may also use your credit information for ‘pre-screening’ credit offers at the request of other credit providers. You may contact the credit reporting body at any time to opt out of this use of your credit information.

If you believe you may have been a victim of fraud, you can notify the credit reporting body. For 21 days after they receive your notification, they must not use or disclose your credit information.

We use cloud storage to store the personal information we hold. Please be aware that our cloud storage and IT servers may be located outside of Australia.

Direct marketing

From time to time we may use your personal information to provide you with current information about finance offers you may find of interest, changes to our organisation, or new products or services being offered by us or any company with whom we are associated.

If you do not wish to receive marketing information, you may at any time decline to receive such information by emailing us at [trustlinefinance9@gmail.com]. If the direct marketing is by email you may also use the unsubscribe function. We will not charge you for giving effect to your request and will take all reasonable steps to meet your request within a reasonable timeframe. change it.

Updating your personal information

It is important to us that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and up to date. During the course of our relationship with you we may ask you to inform us if any of your personal information has changed.

If you wish to make any changes to your personal information, you may contact us. We will generally rely on you to ensure the information we hold about you is accurate and complete. 

Access and correction to your personal and credit information

We are committed to providing you access to the personal and credit information we hold about you. You can request access to this information at any time.

Please note, we may charge a fee to cover the costs of retrieving and supplying the information. We aim to respond to your request within 30 days. In some cases, we may need to contact other entities to fully investigate and process your request.

There are certain situations where we may not be required to provide access to your personal information, such as if it relates to ongoing or anticipated legal proceedings, or if the request is considered vexatious. If we deny your request, we will explain the reasons behind our decision.

If you believe any of the personal information we hold is incorrect, inaccurate, or outdated, you can request that we correct it. If appropriate, we will make the necessary corrections and aim to inform you of the outcome within 30 days. We may also need to consult with other entities during this process.

Should we refuse to correct the information, we will provide you with an explanation of our reasons.

Using government identifiers

When we collect government identifiers, such as your tax file number, we do not use or disclose this information other than as required by law. We will never use a government identifier to identify you.  

Business without identifying you

In most circumstances it will be necessary for us to identify you in order to successfully do business with you, however, where it is lawful and practicable to do so, we will offer you the opportunity of doing business with us without providing us with personal information, for example, if you make general inquiries about interest rates or current promotional offers.
